Mir Nasradin gets MVP of the Week award for Swedish Basketettan

Experienced Iraqi Mir Nasradin (193-F-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Stockholm Nordvast and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Basketettan Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 32-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Blackeberg (#6, 4-2) with 29-point margin 112-83. Nordvast is placed at 2nd position in Swedish Basketettan. They are still close to the very top. Nordvast would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. Nasradin turned to be Nordvast's top player in his first season with the team.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Patrik Andersson (191-F-1994) of Helsingborg BBK. Andersson impressed basketball fans with 39 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Helsingborg to another comfortable win outscoring Brahe Basket (#14, 0-8) 114-86. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in South. But Helsingborg managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 11th place. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Helsingborg managed to get this year. Andersson is one of the most experienced players at Helsingborg and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.4ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 8.5rpg and 4.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was Matan Mizrahi of top-ranked Aros Basket. Mizrahi showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Aros, leading his team to a 96-73 easy win against Central (#14, 0-8). Aros confirms their top position in North. Mizrahi has a great season in Sweden. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.9apg (9th best). He also has a FGP of 64.7% and 3PT: 40.7%.
