Mustafa Dibba gets MVP of the Week award for Swedish Superettan

Experienced Naturalized Gambian Mustafa Dibba (196-G/F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader KFUM Fryshuset Basket and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Superettan Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 31-year old swingman had a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Crossover (#13, 0-7) with 31-point margin 109-78. It allowed Fryshuset to consolidate first place in the Swedish Superettan. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Fryshuset has a very solid 7-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. It's Dibba's second year at Fryshuset and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Dibba has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.4ppg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 54.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Laban Westman (194-G-2003) of Sollentuna Basket Stockholm. Westman impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Sollentuna to another comfortable win 100-84 over the lower-ranked Djurgarden (#12, 2-5) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Sollentuna to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Westman is one of the most experienced players at Sollentuna and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Fryshuset's star - Samoro Njie (198-F-1994). Njie scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was another key player of KFUM Fryshuset Basket, helping his team with a 87-68 easy win against the lower-ranked Wetterbygden (#5, 5-3). Fryshuset confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 2 lost games. Njie has a very solid season. In 7 games in Sweden he scored 12.7ppg. He also has 7.3rpg and a FGP of 67.7%.
