Koping Stars (Basketligan) inked 21-year old Swedish 187cm guard Tim Carlsten for upcoming season. Carlsten played most recently at Lujisa Guadalajara Basket in Spanish EBA league. In 16 games he recorded 10.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.7apg last season.
Part of previous (2019-20) season he spent at KFUM Nassjo Basket in Swedish Basketligan. But in 10 games he averaged just 1.5ppg. He also played for Hogland in Swedish Basketettan where in 10 games he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.7apg and 1.7spg.
He represented Sweden at the European Championships U18 Division B in Skopje (FYR Macedonia) three years ago. His stats at that event were 8 games: 6.9ppg, 1.6rpg, 2.9apg, 1.8spg, FGP: 45.5%, 3PT: 30.0%, FT: 84.2%.
Carlsten has played previously for RIG Mark.
