An interesting game forTowers (7-2) which hosted in Kufstein 3rd placed BBU (5-3). Second ranked Towers had an easy win 91-48 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of BBU. Towers dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to BBU 's 24. Towers forced 28 BBU Salzburg turnovers and outrebounded them 51-25 including a 28-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Towers players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Swedish forward Samoro Unger (195-1994) stepped up and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Swedish guard Aleksander Mlodianovski (200-1998) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Towers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Marko Rakic (200-1999) with 14 points and Serbian power forward Stefan Radic (203-2005) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Towers have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-2 record having just one point less than leader Piraten. BBU Salzburg at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. They share it with United.
