The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Vienna:Basket Flames (#3) and Timberwolves (#6). Timberwolves were crushed at home by 28 points 50-78 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Basket Flames held Timberwolves to an opponent 24.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Four Basket Flames players scored in double figures. Guard Clara Kronfuss (175-1997) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Anna Boruta (178-2000, college: Stonehill) added 12 points in the effort for Timberwolves. Timberwolves' coach Stano Stelzhammer gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Basket Flames maintains third place with 8-4 record having four points less than leader BK Duchess. Timberwolves at the other side keep the sixth position with nine games lost.
