Neftci made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. Guard Vante Hendrix (196-1998, college: CSUN, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Forward Jamaal Brantley (198-1993, college: Cameron, agency: BIG) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Brantley is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Ayinde Hikim (180, college: UMass Lowell) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists and forward Jalen Shaw (208-2000, college: Clayton St.) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Absheron. Four Neftci and five Absheron players scored in double figures.
