Regular Season Round 8: Bro's - Orissaare 43-76

There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked EstonianOrissaare (6-9) smashed winless Georgian Bro's (0-0) 76-43 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Orissaare. Bro's managed to win fourth quarter 10-9 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Orissaare dominated on the defensive end, holding Bro's to just 7 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Bro's ' 30. They outrebounded Bro's 36-21 including a 26-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Orissaare especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Bro's ' players. The best player for the winners was Anri Pere who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Uku Ruutel chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Nikoloz Tskhvaradze produced 15 points and Andria Shengelia added 8 points respectively for Orissaare . The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Orissaare went down to twentieth position due to points difference, which they share with Hito. Loser Bro's still closes the standings with 0 game lost. They share the position with 8 other teams.
