There was no surprise when 14th rankedPardaugava UG (1-8) was defeated by eighth ranked Jelgava (6-9) 69-61 on Sunday. Jelgava forced 32 Pardaugava UG turnovers. Rudolfs Kristals fired 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Edvards Jerofejevs chipped in 6 points and 16 rebounds. Andris Rugelis produced 9 points and 16 rebounds and Patriks Bogdans added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Jelgava went down to twenty fourth position due to points difference, which they share with Noo Spordikool. Pardaugava UG lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the thirtieth place with eight games lost.
