Al-Muharraq topped Al-Hala to reach semifinal stage. Al-Muharraq made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Arnett Moultrie (208-90, college: Mississippi St., agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 25 rebounds. Ahmed Aldurazi chipped in 18 points and 8 assists. Four Al-Muharraq players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Lebanese center Loren Woods (218-78, college: Arizona) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds and Hasan Gerashi added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
