Regular Season Round 13: BSEU-GrandPrint - Tsmoki II 67-106

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Tsmoki II (#2) and BSEU-GrandPrint (#7). BSEU-GrandPrint was crushed at home by 39 points 67-106 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Tsmoki II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to BSEU-GrandPrint's 44. Tsmoki II forced 26 BSEU-GrandPrint turnovers and outrebounded them 47-36 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by BSEU-GrandPrint's players. Forward Timofey Porolev (202-97) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Andrei Rogozenko (183-97) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Five Tsmoki II players scored in double figures. Guard Valentin Nazarov (185-97) produced 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Stainslau Ulyanka (194-99) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tsmoki II (10-0) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with COR-Borisfen. BSEU-GrandPrint lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with seven games lost. Tsmoki II will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BSEU-GrandPrint's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face again at home their local rival from Minsk Tsmoki II.
