The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Vitebsk's (11-9) home victory over 6th ranked Tsmoki II (8-10) 93-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Vitebsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Vitebsk forced 26 Tsmoki II turnovers and outrebounded them 45-27 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Yahor Patupchik (191-94) nailed 21 points for the winning side and the former international guard Maksim Shustov (188-86) accounted for 14 points. Point guard Vladislau Bliznyk (181-99) came up with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Tsimur Drukau (197-99) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Tsmoki II in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vitebsk moved-up to fourth place. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Vitebsk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tsmoki II will play against Prinemanye (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
