Round 20 most important game was a defeat of league's leaderGrodno GrSU (11-1). They were edged by third ranked Gomel (10-4) 65-62 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Grodno GrSU. They outrebounded Grodno GrSU 54-42 including 23 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Timofey Karpuk (185-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Denis Bakshaev (195-2004) who added 16 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Swingman Nikita Kudryavtsev (192-2007) responded with 8 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Dmitriy Naumenko (195-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Gomel have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 10-4 record having ten points less than leader SDUSHOR. Grodno GrSU at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by SDUSHOR.
