Olimpia dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Gorizont 2 's 34. Olimpia forced 35 Gorizont 2 turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Olimpia brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Yana Makutsa (198-2004) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. The former international point guard Evgenia Bernatskaya (169-2005) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Olga
Trigribtseva (184-2007) answered with 8 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Alena Prokhorchuk (168-2009) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Gorizont 2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
