The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 28-20 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game.Gorizont outrebounded BC Minsk 46-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international center Anastasiya Verameyenka (197-1987) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. American swingman Antwainette Walker (180, college: EKU) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Gorizont's coach Nataliya Trafimava used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alena Tsitavets (180-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and forward Anastasia Babak (179-2002) added 5 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
