Olimpia 2 's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Gomel (1-4) 87-54 on Friday. Olimpia 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Gomel 's 30. Olimpia 2 forced 29 Gomel turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. notched 13 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and supported her with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Even 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by Tatiana Gorelikova did not help to save the game for Gomel . Ekatarina Kapitsa added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olimpia 2 left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Gomel.
