The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh rankedOlimpia 2 's (4-12) road victory over bottom-ranked Gomel (1-15) 78-50 on Sunday. Olimpia 2 held Gomel to an opponent 21.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Olimpia 2 forced 33 Gomel turnovers. Strangely Gomel outrebounded Olimpia 2 56-33 including a 27-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Olimpia 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Gomel 's players. The winners were led by forward Valeria Radivon (178-2010) who scored that evening 10 points and 7 rebounds and forward Daria Grigut (178-2009) supported her with 16 points. Even a double-double of 20 points, 22 rebounds and 5 blocks by forward Alina Vlasiuk (174-2002) did not help to save the game for Gomel . Guard Tatiana Gorelikova (162-2007) added 10 points and 8 assists for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olimpia 2 moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Brest. Loser Gomel stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
