The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh rankedGrodno GrSU 's (12-3) road victory over 8th ranked Rubon II (9-6) in Vitebsk 71-52 on Wednesday. Grodno GrSU dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Rubon II 's 32. Grodno GrSU forced 22 Rubon II turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for forward Dmitriy Naumenko (195-2003) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Georgy Fastov (187-2005) accounted for 15 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. Swingman Andrei Vialesik (194-2006) came up with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Ilya Kustarnikov (192-2004) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Rubon II in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Grodno GrSU maintains seventh place with 12-3 record. Loser Rubon II keeps the eighth position with six games lost.
