Rubon dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to RGUOR 's 28. Rubon forced 26 RGUOR turnovers and outrebounded them 43-28 including 19 on the offensive glass. Rubon players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Nikita Borodin (202-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Russian center Artem Kovalenko (205-2005) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Rubon players scored in double figures. point guard Semyon Gural (175-2009) answered with 19 points and guard Oleg Salei (188-2009) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for RGUOR. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
