An interesting game for Limburg United (12-10) which played road game in Mechelen against one of their biggest challengers Kangoeroes (8-12). Third ranked Limburg United had an easy win 89-66. Limburg United dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Kangoeroes' 20. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Kangoeroes' players. It was a good game for American center Luke Knapke (211-97, college: Toledo) who led his team to a victory with 22 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Yannick Desiron (208-92) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American Marvin Clark (201-94, college: St.John's, agency: Slash Sports) replied with 23 points and his fellow American import center Trevor Thompson (213-94, college: Ohio St.) added 13 points in the effort for Kangoeroes. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Limburg United maintains third position with 12-10 record having one point less than leader Belfius Mons. Kangoeroes at the other side keep the fourth place with 12 games lost. Limburg United are looking forward to face Leuven Bears (#4) at home in the next round. Kangoeroes will play against the league's leader Oostende and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
