Regular Season Round 16: Lummen - Kangoeroes 52-119

Top Division Women top team -Kangoeroes (15-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Lummen (0-16) 119-52 . Kangoeroes dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Lummen 's 36 and had 24 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Lummen only scored four points from the stripe. Kangoeroes forced 26 Lummen turnovers and outrebounded them 36-20 including a 25-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Kangoeroes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Lummen 's players. Lummen was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international center Laura Vilcinskas (196-2008) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and American guard Kennedy Todd-Williams (183-2002, college: Ole Miss, agency: LBM Management) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman June Lauwers (175-2005) responded with 11 points and 4 steals and Victoria Cuyvers (176-2005) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kangoeroes have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-0 record. Lummen at the other side still closes the standings.
