Kangoeroes made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Gentson turnovers and outrebounded them 45-30 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Kennedy Todd-Williams (183-2002, college: Ole Miss, agency: LBM Management) fired 27 points for the winners. Her fellow American import forward Javyn Nicholson (188-2001, college: Georgia) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Louise de Geest (184-2003) produced 11 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jitte Baelen (176-2005) added 9 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
