Important game to mention about took place in Sao Paulo. Fifth ranked Pinheiros (4-1) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging second-ranked Vivo/Franca (4-2) 74-73 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vivo/Franca. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 16-12. But Vivo/Franca won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vivo/Franca at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Pinheiros will play against Osasco B. (#5) in the next round. Vivo/Franca will have a break next round.
