Regular Season Round 4: Hradec Kralove - Polonia W-wa 119-29

There was no surprise when 6th ranked PolishPolonia W-wa (1-5) was crushed on the road by second ranked Czech Hradec Kralove (5-1) 119-29 on Sunday. Hradec Kralove held Polonia W-wa to an opponent 19.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 53.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Hradec Kralove forced 29 Polonia W-wa turnovers and outrebounded them 61-19 including a 27-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hradec Kralove looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Polonia W-wa 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Tereza Kralova (184-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and Ema Kamenikova (182-2007) who added 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Hradec Kralove players scored in double figures. At the losing side Aleksanda Polkowska responded with 10 points and forward Katsiaryna Lagutkowa (176-2006) scored 8 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hradec Kralove keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Ruzomberok. Polonia W-wa lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with five games lost.
