Jamaica demolish Costa Rica in Monterrey at the Centrobasket 2014. Jamaica needed a comfortable 81:40 win and will play against Mexico for the 5th place tomorrow. Costa Rica meanwhile will take on El Salvador for the 7-8 places. Jamaica opened the game with a 17-4 surge and dominated the whole game after. They added a 23-9 rally in the second period and increased to 40:13 at the halftime. Moreover Jamaica posted a 17-15 run in the third quarter and finished the game with a 24-12 burst. Richards Shereesha stepped up with 25 points and Jackson Simone notched 12. Ashmeade Tajay produced 10, whilst Dixon Sasha had 8. Vargas Marielena ended up with 11 points in a loss and Galvez Natalia brought 9.
