Regular Season Round 15: CD Castro - Osorno 68-85

The game between Top Four teams took place in Castro. 3rd placed host CD Castro (10-8) lost to second ranked Osorno Basquetbol (13-5) 85-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CD Castro. It was a great shooting night for Osorno Basquetbol especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 5 rebounds. Center Yamene Coleman (208-86, college: Troy, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 16 points and 17 rebounds. Four Osorno Basquetbol players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Tyrone Lee (204-90, college: Grand Valley St.) with 20 points and 9 rebounds and forward Terrance Thomas (198-80, college: Baylor, agency: Interperformances) scored 6 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Osorno Basquetbol have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-5 record having just two point less than leader Los Leones. CD Castro at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Osorno Basquetbol are looking forward to face Deportivo Valdivia (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CD Castro will play against the league's leader Los Leones (#1) in Quilpue and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
