Play-Offs Round 5: Puente Alto - CDE Talca 87-75

Puente Alto rallied past CDE Talca to advance into the quarterfinal stage. Puente Alto looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Jerome Hill (198-94, college: Gardner-Webb) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Venezuelan forward Juan Coronado (203-90, college: Liberty) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Puente Alto's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Howard Wilkerson (198-84, college: Wofford) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import center Albert Jackson (211-88, college: Georgia) added 21 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Espanol de Talca. Four Espanol de Talca players scored in double figures.
