The game was mostly controlled by Fast Break. Patriotas was better in second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fast Break players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valparaiso) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Michael Sneed (196-82, college: Texas Southern) chipped in 21 points. Sneed is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Fast Break players scored in double figures. American Karl Moore (203-87, college: Culver Stockton) produced a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Frisco Sandidge (198-87, college: Delaware St.) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Fast Break have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Patriotas at the other side dropped to the bottom place with six games lost. Fast Break's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Caciques in Valleduparnga and it will be for sure the game of the week. Patriotas will play at home against Cimarrones (#3) and hope to win that game.
