There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Zagreb (3-2) defeated at home 4th placed Novi Zagreb (3-2) 61-54 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American Josh LeBlanc (203-1999, college: LSUS, agency: Olsta) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Nino Zarkovic chipped in 23 points. Center Filip Kalajzic (206-2003) produced 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Luka Bilokapic added 14 points respectively for the guests. Zagreb moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Novi Zagreb. Zagreb will meet Gorica (#6) in the next round. Novi Zagreb will play against Djakovo and hope to secure a win.
