The biggest surprise of round 12 in Premijer Liga was guestZagreb 's (9-3) easy road victory over one of their biggest challengers Ragusa (8-4) 83-66 on Saturday evening. Zagreb forced 20 Ragusa turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Ragusa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian power forward Laura Zelnyte (193-1994) who scored 21 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Lea Hajdin (183-1998) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Iva Todoric (174-1993) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Carmen Miloglav (170-1991, college: FIU) added 11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals respectively. Four Zagreb and five Ragusa players scored in double figures. Zagreb moved-up to fourth place. Ragusa lost third consecutive game.
