No shocking result in a game when second rankedSibenik (11-2) crushed at home 11th ranked Split (1-12) 96-56 on Saturday. Sibenik forced 21 Split turnovers. American guard Bendu Yeaney (178-1998, college: Oregon St.) nailed 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and her fellow American import forward Kyierah Dempsey-Toney (188-2003, college: UIC) accounted for 20 points and 10 rebounds. Five Sibenik players scored in double figures. Iva Tabak (178-2009) came up with 18 points and 5 assists and point guard Una Majstorovic (174-2008) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Split in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sibenik maintains second place with 11-2 record behind leader Brod na Savi, which they share with Tresnjevka. Split lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost.
