The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Nicosia:APOEL (#6) and Etha (#8). Etha was crushed at home by 22 points 60-82 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 51-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Point guard Grant Singleton (183-2000, college: FDU, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 32 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and forward Jadyn Parker (208-2002, college: ETSU, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks. The best for the losing side was Shemarri Allen (193-1999, college: UCF) with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Vatangoe Donzo (202-2000, college: BMCU) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Etha's coach Kuriakou Yiangoulis gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. APOEL (4-4) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Paralimni. Etha at the other side keeps the eighth position with seven games lost.
