Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Nicosia:APOEL (#5) and Etha (#8). APOEL (11-8) won against visiting Etha (2-17) 94-86 . Etha was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 54-38 second half run of APOEL . They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Etha 's 40 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. APOEL players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Guard Al-Amir Dawes (188-2001, college: Seton Hall) nailed 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and forward Jadyn Parker (208-2002, college: ETSU, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 20 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Aaron Deloney (183-2001, college: Vermont) came up with 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists and Shemarri Allen (193-1999, college: UCF) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Etha in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Etha's coach Kuriakou Yiangoulis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for APOEL . They maintain fifth place with 11-8 record. Etha lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 17 games lost.
