There was a minor upset when 8th rankedAmager (2-8) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Copenhagen (2-7) 91-78 on Thursday. Copenhagen shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international David Knudsen (195-1994, college: Marist, agency: Players Group) scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Spanish point guard Andrew Ramirez (181-1997, college: Hartford) chipped in 18 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side American Caden Ebeling (201, college: LSSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Tomas Bjarkason (204-1999, college: Lewis) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Five Amager players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Copenhagen moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Holbaek. Amager lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with BAC.
