Date: January 16, 2025
Bottom-rankedAmager (0-10) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to third ranked SISU (7-3) 66-60 on Thursday evening. SISU outrebounded Amager 51-36 including 20 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Allison Dewire (170) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Michala Bork (179-2003, college: Idaho) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Ellen Iversen (180-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Julie Moller (168-2006) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Amager's coach Brian Rimdal rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SISU have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 7-3 record behind leader Falcon. Loser Amager still closes the standings with ten games lost. SISU will meet league's second-placed Aabyhoj on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Amager will play against the league's leader Falcon in Copenhagen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
