Finals Game 1: TTT Riga - Gdynia 81-67

TTT Riga outgunned Gdynia to celebrate the title. The game was mostly controlled by TTT Riga. Gdynia was better in third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Gdynia 43-25 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. TTT Riga players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Zenta Melnika (197-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Sydney Carter (170-90, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of her seven free throws) for the winners. American center Paris Johnson (193-89, college: San Diego St.) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Jelena Skerovic (176-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Gdynia. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
