Venezia upset Mersin in Turkey to step closer to Final Four. Mersin BSB was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American-Romanian power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Venezia's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Bria Hartley (173-92, college: Connecticut) produced 25 points and Bosnian-Slovenian power forward Marica Gajic (187-95) added 7 points and 18 rebounds respectively for lost side.
