ButTresnjevka was not able to use a home court advantage and was outplayed by the opponent from Campobasso 96-44 on Thursday night. Campobasso dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tresnjevka 's 18. Campobasso forced 32 Tresnjevka turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Forward Emma Giacchetti (178-2007) stepped up and scored 26 points and 8 steals (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and Polish guard Anna Makurat (188-2000, college: UConn) chipped in 15 points. Campobasso's coach felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
