Regular Season Round 2: Jairis - Namur 53-62

There was a small surprise when Belgian Namur won against Spanish Jairis in Murcia 62-53 on Wednesday. Bosnian guard Emina Selimovic (178, college: Fairfield, agency: LBM Management) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Valentine Cambioli (173-2003, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 16 points. Even 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Aina Ayuso (175-1999, college: Oregon) did not help to save the game for Jairis. Forward Nell Angloma (181-2006) added 13 points for the hosts. Jairis' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Namur will meet at home Student in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jairis will play against Lublin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
