Regular Season Round 24: Milano - Panathinaikos 87-75

There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked ItalianArmani Milano (13-11) won against at home higher ranked Greek Panathinaikos (14-10) 87-75 on Thursday. Milano made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American-Azerbaijani Zach LeDay (203-1994, college: Virginia Tech) who scored that evening 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and American-Italian point guard Nicolo Mannion (190-2001, college: Arizona) supported him with 14 points. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 6 assists by point guard Kostas Sloukas (190-1990) did not help to save the game for Panathinaikos . American Kendrick Nunn (194-1995, college: Oakland) added 18 points and 5 assists. Panathinaikos' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Italian champion moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Real Madrid and Barca. Defending Greek champion Panathinaikos dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Bayern and Crvena zvezda.
