Prva Liga top team - MZT Skopje (15-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Strumica (3-13) 94-56. The game without a history. MZT Skopje led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Strumica to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Strumica 44-23 including a 39-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. MZT Skopje shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Strumica's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 11 blocks. Strumica was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international swingman Gorjan Markovski (196-92) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian center Uros Lukovic (213-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian forward Milos Andrejevic (198-89) responded with 12 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Zlatko Gocevski (205-82, agency: Interperformances) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MZT Skopje have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 15-1 record. Strumica lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 13 games lost.
