The game without a history. UU-Korihait led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Forssan Koripojat's 40. UU-Korihait forced 22 Forssan Koripojat turnovers and outrebounded Forssan Koripojat 42-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American power forward Marcus Van (201-87, college: Cent.Michigan) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The other American import swingman Reginald Bratton (193-86, college: Lenoir-Rhyne, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four UU-Korihait players scored in double figures. American point guard Ramon Nelson (175-90, college: USC Aiken) produced 28 points and 5 assists and Juho-Matti Henttonen (200-96) added 14 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
