Regular Season Round 16: Pyrinto - KTP Basket 87-67

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked KTP-Basket (5-10) was crushed on the road by ninth ranked Tampereen Pyrinto (6-10) 87-67. The game without a history. Tampereen Pyrinto led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American forward J'Nathan Bullock (196-87, college: Cleveland St.) who scored that evening 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman Ricky Minard (196-82, college: Morehead St.) supported him with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Even 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) did not help to save the game for KTP-Basket. Jamaican-American power forward Sherman Gay (201-82, college: Loyola Mary) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tampereen Pyrinto moved-up to eighth place. KTP-Basket at the other side dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. Tampereen Pyrinto will have a break next round. KTP-Basket will play at home against Lapuan Korikobrat (#6) and hope to win that game.
