Very expected game when 9th rankedRaPy (1-4) was smashed by second ranked JBA (4-1) in Jyvaskyla 98-76 on Friday. JBA forced 30 RaPy turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by RaPy 's players. Guard Elmeri Abbey (182-2006) nailed 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winning side and forward Eino Pallijeff (200-2004) accounted for 15 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Guard Karo Puittinen (195-1999) came up with 14 points and 6 assists and guard Niki Juntunen (188-2001) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for RaPy in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for JBA . They maintain second place with 4-1 record behind leader Lahti. Loser RaPy dropped to the bottom position with four games lost. They share it with HNMKY and Raiders Basket.
