The most important game in the last round took place in Kotka between second rankedKataja (12-5) and eleventh ranked KTP-Basket Kataja was crushed by KTP-Basket on the road 72-94 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kataja. It was a good game for point guard Joonas Timonen (189-2000) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Alijah Comithier (201-2001, college: Emporia St.) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four KTP-Basket players scored in double figures. KTP-Basket's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Thomas Tumba (196-2001) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Hannes Polla (211-1998, college: UT Martin) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kataja. KTP-Basket maintains eleventh position with 4-13 record. Kataja at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost.
