Second Stage Round 2: PeKa - Pyrinto 76-62

An interesting game for Peli-Karhut which hosted in Kotka Tampereen Pyrinto. Peli-Karhut managed to get a 14-point victory 76-62. PeKa players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Laura Lehtoranta (172-1984) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Lauren Heard (175-1999, college: TCU) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Peli-Karhut players scored in double figures. Forward Annika Aarrejoki (180-2004) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Mari Stewart (183-1996, college: WVWC) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Peli-Karhut will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tampereen Pyrinto will play at home against Honka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
