Important game to mention about took place in Helsinki. Eleventh rankedHNMKY (6-12) saved a 1-point victory at home edging higher ranked Huima (7-10) 73-72 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Huima. Center Henri Mennander (204-2003) notched 15 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Lenni Hervola (179-2003) supported him with 12 points and 6 assists. HNMKY's coach Tuomas Oja used entire bench in such tough game. Even 26 points and 8 rebounds by American guard JJ Kalakon (196, college: W.Illinois) did not help to save the game for Huima . His fellow American import guard Zyon Dobbs (193, college: Fairmont St.) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. HNMKY moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Oulun Bball and RaPy. Huima at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost.
