The game between closely ranked teams ended with one of their biggest challengersJBA 's (10-10) road loss to second ranked Kipina (15-5) in Aanekoski 95-101 on Tuesday. Kipina dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to JBA 's 36 and made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded JBA 51-31 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kipina looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by American forward Victor Hart (203-2001, college: Southern Miss, agency: One Motive Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Tevin Brewer (173-1999, college: Duquesne) supported him with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists. Four Kipina players scored in double figures. Even 24 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by guard Elmeri Abbey (182-2006) did not help to save the game for JBA . Point guard Tuomas Flinck (182-1999) added 8 points and 10 assists for the guests. JBA's coach Mikko Tupamaki tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kipina have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 15-5 record having five points less than leader Lahti. Loser JBA keeps the third place with ten games lost. They share the position with Huima and Pyrinto Ak.A.
