ToPo dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to BC Nokia's 26. They outrebounded BC Nokia 46-30 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. ToPo looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American power forward Carmen Tyson-Thomas (175-1991, college: Syracuse) notched a double-double by scoring 29 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and the former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-1977, college: Xavier) supported her with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Four ToPo players scored in double figures. Even 12 points and 4 assists by American guard Evanne Turner (175, college: UC Davis) did not help to save the game for BC Nokia. Estonian forward Kadri-Ann Lass (191-1996, college: Duquesne) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. BC Nokia's coach Denis Kucevic rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
