Karhubasket dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kataja 's 34. Karhubasket forced 19 Kataja turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Karhubasket brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by guard Quan Jackson (193-1997, college: UAB) who scored that evening 22 points and 6 assists and forward Nathaniel Pollard Jr (196-2000, college: UMES, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) supported him with 13 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Pollard Jr. is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Five Karhubasket players scored in double figures. Even 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by guard KeShawn Curry (195-1998, college: VCU) did not help to save the game for Kataja . Guard Zaccheus Darko-Kelly (198-1997, college: Providence, MT) added 22 points for lost side.
