Peli-Karhut held ToPo to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Anissa Pounds (174-1990, college: Arkansas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Lauren Heard (175-1999, college: TCU) contributed with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American power forward Carmen Tyson-Thomas (175-1991, college: Syracuse) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-1977, college: Xavier) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for ToPo. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
